Info
On 18 December 2026, Richard Hawley plays Sheffield City Hall for a homecoming show that leans into everything that’s made his solo work so recognisable since the early 2000s: crisp guitars, vintage-leaning melodies, and that late-night atmosphere where rockabilly snap sits next to orchestral pop and hushed crooner ballads. A Sheffield native, Hawley has always written with the city in the background, turning street-level stories into elegant, widescreen songs. Expect a set that can move from the noir glow of his Coles Corner and Lady’s Bridge era to the denser, more electric edge of Standing at the Sky’s Edge, with room for the more recent chapters too. After years as a band member, touring guitarist and in-demand producer, he brings that experience to the stage: tight playing, warm arrangements, and a voice made for slow-burn choruses and midnight hooks.
