On May 28, 2027, Allah-Las return to the Trianon in Paris with their California rock that looks as much to the sixties as to the record-store crates. Born in Los Angeles in the late 2000s, the band has refined a blend of garage rock, surf, and hushed psychedelia, propelled by guitars thick with reverb, tight rhythms, and vocal harmonies that carry the melody without overplaying it. On stage, you can sense that taste for retro textures without obvious nods, with songs that range from beachy laid-back vibes to more pop and melancholic hues. From Allah-Las' early tracks and Worship the Sun to the more expansive turns of Calico Review, LAHS, or Zuma 85, the set offers a balance between direct energy and psych-pop drift, in a concise, live-focused format.
