Info
On February 12, 2027, Sophia Stel arrives at La Gaîté Lyrique in Paris with "the greatest tour of all time." A producer and singer-songwriter based in Vancouver, she has crafted an alternative pop nourished by melodic electronics, blending veiled synth textures, supple breakbeats, and melodies that hook with their fragility and a hint of distance. This blend of intimacy and drive suited for the dance floor recurs on her EP Object Permanence (2024), and on How To Win At Solitaire (2025), where the track "I’ll Take It" marked a real turning point. On stage, Stel makes suspended textures converse with crisp refrains, with that soft tension shifting from haze to kick in just a few measures. A concert conceived as a back-and-forth between introspection and energy, propelled by pop-writing that isn’t afraid of hybrid forms, and a universe where human connections stay at the center.
