Info
On May 23, 2027, at Le Plan in Ris-Orangis, Groundation returns with 'A Tribute to Bob Marley', a set conceived as a true live moment rather than a simple best-of. Formed in the late 1990s around Harrison Stafford, the band has built its signature on a solid roots reggae sound, open to jazz harmonies, extended instrumental builds and improvisation.
For this tribute, Groundation dives back into Marley's heritage, seeking both classics and deeper tracks, without forgetting the Wailers' spirit and their impact on roots reggae. On stage, the material is reworked in their own way: a brass section, keyboard-guitar dialogues, dub rhythms and more intimate passages that let Stafford's voice breathe. A way to make a historic repertoire resonate in the present, with the energy and freedom that have defined the collective's live reputation.
