On December 18, 2027, at L’Acclameur in Niort, Ycare returns to the stage with a project that marks a turning point in his career: an album-length tribute to Jacques Brel. After a self-titled album and a dense tour, he tackles this repertoire with a more rock, tighter approach, driven by muscular arrangements and a performance that stays closest to the text.
In this show, Brel's universe is revisited without imitation, between urgency and contemporary intensity. The songs are reinvented through arrangements signed by Ycare and Pascal Obispo, in the continuity of their recent collaboration. A concert conceived as a crossing: to respect the heritage, while making it sound present, with this blend of Francophone pop, electric momentum, and storytelling sense that characterizes Ycare.
