Westside Cowboy land in Manchester on March 24, 2027 at O2 Victoria Warehouse with their “Britainicana” blend: a wired mix of country edges, indie rock drive and art-rock angles, built around collective songwriting and the push-and-pull of a tight quartet. With Reuben Haycocks, James Bradbury, Aoife Anson O’Connell and Paddy Murphy sharing the weight, the songs lean on expansive melodies, taut guitars and a deliberately rough finish that keeps things alive rather than polished.
After turning heads on the UK independent circuit, they locked in that tension on the EP So Much Country ’Till We Get There, recorded in New York with producer Loren Humphrey. On stage, those choruses and spiky riffs hit harder: the folk-country inflections stay in the mix, but the set is driven by momentum, volume and a band that plays like it’s one conversation. Expect a show shaped for the room, direct and physical, where the abrasive side of the songs finally gets the space it needs.
