Info
Westside Cowboy bring their rough-edged “Britainicana” to Albert Hall, Manchester on 5 December 2026. Formed in the UK by Reuben Haycocks, James Bradbury, Aoife Anson O’Connell and Paddy Murphy, the quartet write and play as a unit, folding country accents into indie and art rock frameworks. Broad melodies, taut guitars and an intentionally unvarnished touch drive songs that look to groove and refrain rather than genre pastiche.
After a first run of tracks on the UK independent scene, the band released the EP So Much Country ’Till We Get There in January 2026 on Adventure Recordings, recorded in New York with producer Loren Humphrey. The record extends their mix of rock tension and folk-country inflections without chasing American re-enactment. On stage, that material tightens and roughens: the rhythm section presses forward, guitars bite, and the arrangements stay direct.
Tours across Britain in 2026 and US dates in late 2025 have sharpened their set, with shared bills alongside Geese and Black Country, New Road, plus appearances at Glastonbury, Green Man and End of the Road. In Manchester, expect the new EP at the core, threaded with earlier cuts and a live sound that leans into the band’s most immediate side.
