On October 9, 2027, Ycare brings his Resilience Tour to the Théâtre Sébastopol in Lille. The singer-songwriter, born in Dakar and based in Francophone pop, comes to defend a repertoire built on clear melodies, often acoustic guitars, and writing that is very close to lived experience, in French, that goes straight to the text.
On stage, Ycare plays with contrasts: the warmth of ballads and the pulse of pop, but also more tense pieces, as reflected in his shift toward more electric sounds since Lumière noire and in his taste for modern chanson that flirts with folk. After several albums that tell of relationships and personal stories, from Au bord du monde to Des millions d’années, he relies on a direct, unflinching interpretation, capable of moving from an intimate moment to a band's energy. A concert conceived as a meeting, where the choruses and the words take center stage.
