On October 17, 2026, Concert For Care brings The Trews to Casino Rama in Orillia for a rock evening powered by the energy of their live performances that has earned the band its reputation. Formed in the late 1990s around brothers Colin and John-Angus MacDonald, The Trews have built their identity around solid riffs, catchy refrains, and a clear penchant for classic rock tempered by post-grunge. Discovered early thanks to the Canadian scene and their first records, they have released albums and toured while preserving this sense of efficiency: songs tailored for the live show, a voice that grabs you, and a rhythm section that drives without overdoing it. Over time, their sound has also opened up to more acoustic formats and to more pop nuances, without losing the edge.
