Chilliwack hits the stage at Casino Rama in Orillia on August 27, 2027. Born in Vancouver at the turn of the 1970s from the ashes of The Collectors, the band first explored psych and progressive currents before tightening its songwriting. Around singer-guitarist Bill Henderson, the sound moved through folk-tinged rock and radio-friendly hooks, with guitar lines and harmonies anchored by Henderson’s voice. Across the decades, the catalogue has balanced ballads and more driving cuts, a thread that runs through their classic era and still shapes their live set today. Long rooted in the Canadian rock circuit, Chilliwack now tours in a streamlined lineup that focuses on the songs and the melodic punch that made their name.
Special guest Harlequin joins the bill for the night.
