Two Door Cinema Club, Circa Waves and Arkayla meet at The O2 in London on January 28, 2027, for an evening that threads together tense indie rock, sharp pop and crackling guitars.
Two Door Cinema Club, a Northern Irish trio formed around Alex Trimble, Sam Halliday and Kevin Baird, built its signature on short, fast, ultra-melodic songs. Discovered early on via Myspace and later Kitsuné, the band laid the foundations with Tourist History before widening its spectrum, from Beacon to Keep On Smiling, by injecting more synths, new wave influences and a dancing momentum without losing the sense of the chorus.
Circa Waves arrive with their straight-ahead indie rock born in Liverpool: bright guitars, garage energy and tight hooks. Since Young Chasers, the band has evolved its sound, moving through darker hues on Different Creatures, and playing with contrasts up to Never Going Under, tailor-made for the live scene.
Arkayla, from Manchester, completes the lineup with taut and melodic alternative rock, layers of guitars and a dream-pop haze that gives breadth to the songs, conceived for a live show as direct as it is enveloping.
