Info
Born in Glasgow in 1997, Dylan John Thomas arrives with a blend of acoustic indie folk and direct pop that lands without overdoing it. At the core is a self-taught guitar, plenty of fingerpicking, and a writing style deeply rooted in everyday life, carried by a rasping voice with distinctly British phrasing. Long honed on the streets of Glasgow, he retains a sense of a clear chorus and melodies that stay with you, even when the arrangement is minimalist.
Discovered early by Gerry Cinnamon, then served as a supporting act for Liam Gallagher, he has broadened his palette across releases, from 'Nobody Else' to 'Jenna' and 'Feel the Fire', notably working with producer Rich Turvey. Between successive EPs and a self-titled album released in 2024, his repertoire has densified without losing its straightforward simplicity. On December 8, 2026, he will perform at Islington Assembly Hall in London, for a live show where energy and singing carry most of the weight.
