On October 17, 2026, Dominique Fils-Aimé takes the stage at Café de la Danse in Paris for a concert that places her voice at the heart of the performance. Hailing from Montreal, the Canadian singer has in recent years been carving an unusual path through vocal jazz, soul, and R&B, with a highly personal approach to nuance, pauses, and choral textures—without overdoing it.
Her repertoire has unfolded like a continuous thread, from Nameless to Stay Tuned! and then Three Little Words, a trilogy that interrogates the history and memory of Afro-descendant communities through pared-down soul, contemporary jazz harmonies, and echoes of spirituals. More recently, Our Roots Run Deep extends this inquiry, in a more introspective form, around lineage and rootedness.
