Hugues Aufray

Hugues Aufray hits the road again with Escapada, a tour conceived as a break from everyday life. On the program: a journey into a repertoire that has spanned decades, carried by his voice and a stripped-down acoustic instrumentation. The concert will take place on 7 December 2026 at Kabaret Le K in Reims.

On stage he alternates signature songs and more intimate detours: Santiano, Céline, Adieu Monsieur le Professeur, Stewball, Hasta Luego, Le Petit Âne Gris, L’Épervier… So many choruses shared effortlessly, between ballads that give the hall room to breathe. Guitar slung over his shoulder and surrounded by his musicians, Aufray favors closeness and clarity in the arrangements, leaving full space to the lyrics and the melodies.

Escapada extends the traveling impulse of an artist rooted in his Spanish origins and by a long-standing taste for adaptation, from Dylan to his own classics. As he approaches his 97th birthday, he brings together memories and songs in a direct, warm format, where everyone rediscovers their bearings and the simple pleasure of singing together.
