Info

On 14 November 2026 at Royal Festival Hall in London, Goldie brings his singular take on jungle and drum and bass to the stage. Born Clifford Joseph Price, he moved from early 80s graffiti and b-boy culture into the UK rave circuit, then into production with Rufige Kru. In 1994 he co-founded Metalheadz, a label that mapped out a new grammar for breakbeats, atmospheres and bass pressure. His debut album Timeless in 1995, with the track Inner City Life, set the tone for an approach that blends rugged rhythms with orchestral colours and soulful vocals.

This show draws on three decades of music that looks to the club while rewarding close listening. Expect contrasts: shattered breaks and rolling subs alongside sweeping strings, pads and voice-led melodies. Goldie’s catalogue stretches from the hardcore-inflected early cuts to long-form compositions, and he folds those threads into a fluid, narrative set. Whether revisiting Timeless-era material or reaching into later works like Saturnz Return and The Journey Man, he navigates the space between raw percussion and widescreen texture with the ease of a producer who shaped the sound he plays.
