Anthony Kavanagh is on stage with Jet Lag on April 22, 2027 at the Théâtre de la Gaîté Montparnasse in Paris. A Québécois comedian, actor and singer, he made a name for himself in France with one-man shows where stand-up, music, dance and impressions mingle. Here he plays with jet lag: time zones and travel, cultural clashes between Quebec and metropolitan France, the little everyday misunderstandings, and the velocity of our connected lives. His material is observation, his terrain interaction; his tempo alternates between dry one-liners, improvisation and rapid changes of character. You can recognize his stage energy and that seamless shift from laughter to something more intimate, without losing momentum. Kavanagh recounts couple scenes, memories, a society spiraling out of control, and that tendency we have to feel out of sync. Jet Lag packs all of this into a direct set, tailored for closeness, bringing him up close to his audience.
