Dany Boon « Clown n'est pas un métier »

Dany Boon returns to the stage with Clown n’est pas un métier, a new one-man show in which the comedian rediscovers his first passion. After seven years away from the boards, he goes back to basics: a microphone, an eye on everyday life and the urge to tell stories. He questions what it means to be a clown today, without costume or red nose, playing with the contrasts between seriousness and absurdity.

Between stand-up and character work, he unfolds personal revelations and scenes from daily life: family, work, the misunderstandings that settle in, accents that go awry, those little habits that eventually take over everything. Boon works the language, the rhythms and the silences to bring situations to light that slide from the mundane to the comic. You find his way of observing people, sketching familiar figures and weaving a narrative thread that zigzags between memories and the present.

Clown n’est pas un métier will be performed on 29 April 2027 at L’Olympia in Paris.
