Zélie

Zélie will be performing on April 8, 2027 at the Rockstore in Montpellier. On stage she delivers a direct electronic pop, driven by chatty, intimate songwriting that looks at reality without detours. Her voice shifts between tenderness and tension, while the rhythms and synthetic textures establish a physical energy designed as much for live shows as for listening on headphones.

Her new album, Le cœur et sa dictature, was forged over the course of the tour dates, and you can hear it. The tracks explore simple yet persistent themes: breakups that unsettle everyday life, young women’s relationship to their bodies, the marks divorce leaves on children. Zélie turns these into present-tense stories—small shocks, blunt thoughts and images that linger—using a personal but accessible voice.

Trained in dance, she blends contemporary movement and hip‑hop gestures into her sharp pop, creating a set where choreography responds to the machines. The show alternates club pulses, sensitive slowdowns and controlled buildups, playing constantly between distance and intimacy. No ostentation—just a way of inhabiting the space and bringing the audience along, face to face, with songs that speak for themselves.
