Water From Your Eyes is the Chicago‑born, Brooklyn‑based duo of composer‑producer Nate Amos and singer‑writer Rachel Brown. Moving between experimental pop, indie rock, post‑punk and slowed dance music, they build songs from repetition, collage and the friction between abrasive guitars, mechanical pulses and a calm, almost spoken voice. After lo‑fi beginnings came Long Days, No Dreams (2017), All a Dance (2018) and Somebody Else’s Song (2019); the stretched structures of 33:44 (2020); the minimalist patterns and abrupt turns of Structure (2021); then Everyone’s Crushed (2023) on Matador. On stage, they keep a steady balance between direct hooks and sonic detours, with a dry humor threading through the lyrics.
Hank is an indie/shoegaze outfit from London, bringing a local angle to the night. Their set adds a grounded counterpoint to the duo’s elastic pop experiments and sets the tone for a dense, guitar‑leaning evening.
