Joyce Manor bring their sharp, melodic punk to Manchester Academy on 7 October 2026. Formed in Torrance, California by Barry Johnson and Chase Knobbe, with Matt Ebert on bass, the trio have honed a style of short, hook-heavy songs that cut straight to the point. Live, that economy turns kinetic: fast turns, tight harmonies, and choruses that land then disappear before you’ve caught your breath.

The tour follows their seventh album, I Used To Go To This Bar, produced by Brett Gurewitz, where the band push bigger guitars and punchier rhythms without blunting the edge that defined their early records. The new material sits comfortably next to the staples, all driven by candid lyrics and that mix of pop instinct and punk urgency. Expect fresh cuts like All My Friends Are So Depressed alongside favourites from Never Hungover Again, Cody and 40 oz. to Fresno, stitched into a set that moves quickly and hits hard, the way Joyce Manor do best.
