Gauvain Sers

On October 21, 2026, at the Théâtre de Champagne in Troyes, Gauvain Sers returns with his lyric-driven songs. First noticed as the opening act for Renaud, he established himself with Pourvu (2017), before significantly broadening his scope with Les oubliés (2019) and Ta place dans ce monde (2021). His writing depicts changing countryside, closing schools, unassuming lives, but also loved ones, relationships, and the doubts of a generation.

On stage, he alternates portraits and everyday scenes, between restrained humor and contained melancholy, supported by spare melodies and clear phrasing. The songs answer one another like chronicles, from intimate ballads to rougher pieces, without unnecessary effects. From record to record, he weaves a thread that connects his personal journey to that of a country in motion. In Troyes, these stories are experienced up close, from his first album to his more recent songs, in a pared-down format that leaves room for words and silences.
