Clover County and Jack Van Cleaf bring a shared love of modern folk and Americana to The Lodge in Manchester on 12 May 2026. Clover County leans into a self-styled “bootgaze” sound, a folk-pop blend with country hues where clear melodies meet finely sketched stories. Her songs draw on teenage memories, crushes and small everyday objects that spark bigger feelings, told with quiet irony and attention to detail. On stage, that writing turns direct and tactile, shaped by a live-first approach honed alongside artists like Lord Huron, Shakey Graves and Medium Build.
Jack Van Cleaf comes from the Nashville singer-songwriter circuit with a pen sharpened on contemporary folk, Americana and a melodic indie rock edge. He started young, studied songwriting at Belmont, and found a wider audience with Rattlesnake in 2023, a track that caught the ear of Noah Kahan and led to a collaboration with Zach Bryan. His songs explore coming of age, identity and movement, keeping the arrangements spare but restless, balancing intimate confession, dreamy textures and a grounded band energy.
