Ethan Regan arrives on December 12, 2026 at Band on the Wall in Manchester, with this alt-folk that sounds at once intimate and dynamic. Born in North Carolina and largely raised in Charlotte, he built himself as a solo artist, in full artisan mode: he writes, plays, sings, but also produces his tracks from start to finish, including mixing and mastering. Result: direct, often stripped-down music where the voice leads the dance, and where arrangements can veer off without warning, between gravity-defying guitar, brass bursts, or swathes of strings.
Revealed through viral tours and tracks that circulated widely (durham, my fault, wildflowers, secrecy), he releases EPs and singles without settling into a formula. His EP honey honey honey (2025) notably carried 'get by' and 'spaceman', before a new volley of tracks like 'fool' and 'sweet hunger'. On stage, after dates with Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Chelsea Cutler, Jeremy Zucker or Sam Barber, Regan keeps this mix of energy and closeness that makes it feel like stepping into his diary, in real time.
