Info
The Darkness bring their blend of glam, classic rock and melodic hard rock to Leeds Arena, Leeds on 9 December 2026. Formed in Lowestoft by brothers Justin and Dan Hawkins with bassist Frankie Poullain, the band made their mark in the early 2000s with falsetto vocals, twin‑guitar harmonies and choruses that stick. Permission to Land (2003) set the tone with I Believe in a Thing Called Love, Love Is Only a Feeling and their seasonal cut Christmas Time (Don’t Let the Bells End).
After One Way Ticket to Hell... and Back and a hiatus, the quartet regrouped, sharpened the riffs and carried on with Hot Cakes, Last of Our Kind and Pinewood Smile. With Rufus Taylor on drums since 2015, they’ve kept the momentum through Easter Is Cancelled, Motorheart and Dreams on Toast (2025), touring steadily across the UK and Europe.
On stage, The Darkness mix early favourites with newer tracks, balancing hooks, stacked guitars and Justin Hawkins’ signature high notes. It’s a set built for loud sing‑alongs, tight interplay and a catalogue that spans two decades without losing its bite.
