Corrosion of Conformity

Corrosion of Conformity land at Rebellion Manchester, Manchester, on 11 June 2026, bringing a catalogue forged over the long haul. Born in Raleigh in the early 1980s at the heart of a nervous hardcore scene, they quickly shifted toward a punk/thrash blend before adopting slower tempos and a heavier grain that fed the sludge and stoner aesthetic. Animosity and Blind laid the foundations; the arrival of Pepper Keenan on vocals and guitar anchored Deliverance and Wiseblood in a Southern-tinged metal, tautly focused on riff and groove. The 2000s and 2010s alternated between trio and quartet line-ups, with a consolidated return on 2018’s No Cross No Crown.

On stage, the band combines crossover urgency, massive bass lines and gritty guitars, cycling between frontal assaults and slow jams without losing the thread of the riff. Expect a journey through all periods, from the vigour of their early years to the heavier, more stretched pulses of recent records, played with the economy of means and the sense of weight that characterises their writing.
