The Proclaimers

The Proclaimers — twins Craig and Charlie Reid — return in 2026 with new material and a UK run that stops in Sheffield on 21 October 2026 at Sheffield City Hall. On stage, they keep things lean and melodic: tight harmonies up front, strummed guitars setting the pace, lyrics that speak plainly, carried by their unmistakable Scottish accent. This new chapter follows their 14‑month Dentures Out tour, which wrapped in August 2023, and comes alongside a forthcoming 13th studio album.

The set draws on their full range, mixing new songs with staples like I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles), Letter from America and Sunshine on Leith. Folk rock and pop instincts meet a rootsy edge, shifting between acoustic bite and full‑band drive, with choruses built to be sung back. Three decades in, the duo still aim straight: songs about love, place and everyday life, performed with focus and without frills. Sheffield City Hall offers the frame; the rest is voices that lock and melodies that stick.
