Axel Bauer

On 16 October 2026 Axel Bauer will be appearing at Salle Bauduin IV in Braine‑le‑Comte. The Parisian guitarist and singer has explored since the 1980s the crossroads between new wave and French chanson. With Cargo he set out his own path in 1983; since then he has been building a repertoire in which guitars set the direction and French lyrics carry the story, between urban imagery, introspection and sharp observations. Live he seeks the arc of tension: angular riffs and pulses that collide with more cinematic atmospheres, then a melody that lingers.
