Kid Francescoli

Kid Francescoli will perform live on 3 December 2026 at La Belle Électrique in Grenoble. Behind the name is Mathieu Hocine, a Marseille-based producer who crafts electronic pop at the intersection of dream pop and understated dance. Active since the early 2000s, he has evolved his writing from a synthetic intimacy to brighter, more luminous pieces: Lovers opened the way; With Julia, conceived with singer Julia Minkin, placed the voices at the forefront; Play Me Again then steered the project toward indie pop with disco and Balearic hues. Sunset Blue slowed the tempo without relinquishing the pulse.

On stage, Kid Francescoli rearranges this repertoire into a more organic setup. Keyboards to the fore, supple rhythms, rounded basslines, suspended vocal lines: the set alternates between danceable surges and moments of respite, drawing from the entire catalogue. Between airy melodies and discreet grooves, the band establishes a continuous thread, more organic than on record. A concert that highlights Kid Francescoli’s melodic signature and his measured way of combining keyboards, voices and rhythms.
