LUIZA arrives at Le 106 in Rouen on 27 November 2026. A Franco-Brazilian singer born between Rennes and Brazil, Luiza Fernandes Viana developed a precise, agile voice at the conservatory while also studying harp, piano and guitar. Her extended stays in Brazil, notably in the Amazon, sharpened her ear for popular repertoires and Afro‑Latin rhythms, while a stint in Réunion and at the School of Fine Arts set off her first steps on stage, culminating in a memorable improvisation at an Emir Kusturica concert that opened the door to her first tours and productions.

On stage, LUIZA draws a distinct line between Brazilian music, cumbia, Latin pop, dub and electronic music, with particular attention to vocal harmonies. She has worked in the studio with Fakear on “Rituals”, appeared alongside Mahom for a cover of “Le temps de l’amour”, and collaborated with Khoe‑Wa, then iZem and Brazilian singer Flavia Coelho on “Sua Pele”. Today she presents a personal repertoire nourished by songs co‑written with the duo Bleu Soleil, designed for live performance: warm pulses, electronic textures and enveloping vocals, all crafted for both club settings and the stage.
