Anders Blichfeldt

On 29 January 2027 Anders Blichfeldt will appear at Kaløvig Badehotel, Åstrup Strandvej 68A in Skødstrup. Known as the singer, guitarist and songwriter of Big Fat Snake since the late 1980s, he has left his mark on the Danish rock and pop scene with straightforward, catchy melodies, traces of blues and electric ballads. Over the years he has refined a direct songwriting style about everyday life and relationships, first in English and later also in Danish in his own projects.

As a solo artist, Blichfeldt moves toward pop-rock and folk, where voice and storytelling are given more space and presence is the focus. He shifts effortlessly between full rock arrangements, acoustic settings and thematic formats, always with the guitar as his central instrument. Live he typically explores his entire catalogue — from Big Fat Snake songs to newer solo material — allowing the songs to carry the atmosphere forward without grand gestures.
