Info
Gnags will play at the Aarhus Congress Center on 21 April 2027, and it will be an evening with a band that has always treated the live stage as its natural home. Since they were formed in Aarhus in the 1960s, Gnags has moved from beat and Anglo-American rock to a distinctly Danish expression, centered on Peter A.G. Nielsen's distinctive voice and songwriting.
Expect a set that blends rock, pop and reggae, sometimes with a touch of funk, where the danceable grooves and brass-infused arrangements give space to the stories in the songs. Gnags has, over the decades, shifted its sound and aesthetics without losing its core, from more organic periods to more synth-inflected productions and later to a more mature rock expression. And it is precisely live that they are known for tailoring the repertoire so that the audience becomes part of it: choruses that fill the room, and an energy that builds from song to song.
