JMSN

JMSN will be at Le Trabendo in Paris on May 29, 2026. Originally from Detroit (pronounced “Jameson”), he is a singer, songwriter and producer who has been carving out an alternative R&B and soul path for more than ten years, operating independently through his own label. After starting out under other aliases, his JMSN project foregrounds the voice and blends slow ballads, guitars and dense backing vocals, with equal care given to sound and imagery.

On stage, JMSN delivers shows where groove, band dynamics and visuals he designs himself set the tone. His catalogue includes eight studio albums and two live records, from Priscilla to Heals Me, via Blue Album, It Is., Whatever Makes U Happy and Velvet. His songwriting and production have also taken him into the studio with hip‑hop and electronic artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, J. Cole, The Game, Ab‑Soul, Kaytranada, Sango, Ta‑ku and Freddie Gibbs. This is an occasion that highlights his DIY approach and his way of refreshing R&B in a live context.
