Info

The Wallflowers, led by Jakob Dylan, will be at L'Alhambra in Paris on November 17, 2026. For that date the band will perform Bringing Down the Horse (1996) in its entirety for its 30th anniversary — a first for them — and follow it with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ Long After Dark, also played from start to finish. In doing so Dylan stages a double gesture: returning to the album that defined The Wallflowers’ trajectory and revisiting a landmark Petty record.

Bringing Down the Horse propelled the band in the mid‑1990s with “One Headlight,” “The Difference,” “Three Marlenas” and “6th Avenue Heartache,” selling more than four million copies. At the 1998 Grammy Awards The Wallflowers were honored, with “One Headlight” singled out. The inclusion of Long After Dark underlines the long‑standing connection between Jakob Dylan and Tom Petty: Dylan introduced Petty into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002 and extended that kinship in the documentary Echo in the Canyon.

Between alternative rock, heartland and Americana, The Wallflowers have for three decades crafted melodic songs carried by Dylan’s deep voice, clear guitars and enveloping keyboards, up to Exit Wounds (2021). In Paris the bill offers a mirrored setlist — one a milestone of their discography, the other a journey through Petty’s universe.
