On March 6, 2026 at l’Atabal in Biarritz, Meule arrive with Dare, their new album, and the blend of urgency and momentum that defines them. A trio from Tours with a singular configuration, Meule makes Valentin Pedler’s guitar and synths converse with two drum kits set face to face, played by Marine Flèche and Dorris Biayenda. Two rhythmic hearts, a genuine polyrhythm that pushes the music beyond the machines: tension, direct trances, clean breaks and melodies that settle in effortlessly. On stage, this mechanism creates a continuous flow between psychedelic rock, electronic pulses and raw energy—designed to unsettle without sacrificing the precision of the performance.
Pain Magazine brings together Birds in Row, Louisahhh, Maelstrom and Quentin Sauvé in a project born from an improvised session. Their first signal is called Violent God: saturated guitars, machines finely dialed in, raw vocals. The encounter traces a punk/techno axis drawing on post‑hardcore and industrial techno, with repetitive, taut songwriting. On stage, the guitar‑bass‑drums trio crosses programming and electronic textures to produce a frontal, hypnotic sound crafted to blur the lines between club and rock venue.
