Gauvain Sers returns with Boulevard de l’enfance, a fourth album composed between Paris and the Creuse, at the crossroads of the intimate and the political, childhood and the wider world. After three consecutive records and intense touring, he chose to slow down, to rediscover real life in cafés and to return to his roots. This interlude saw the birth of a child and a different way of looking at society; it permeates songs that combine subtle humour, tenderness and indignation, everyday chronicles and childhood memories.
Spotted as an opening act for Renaud and regarded as an heir to the lyric-driven chanson tradition, Sers made his mark with Pourvu, then Les oubliés and Ta place dans ce monde. With Boulevard de l’enfance he continues this thread, telling how a personal trajectory connects to a country in motion. He will present these new songs live at L’Espace Étincelle, 1 Allée Lucien Videau in Bergerac, on 4 December 2026.
