Info
On November 27, 2026, Cœur de Pirate will take the stage at the Centre André Malraux in Hazebrouck. Béatrice Martin, a Québécoise singer-songwriter, became known for her chiaroscuro songs in which the piano leads the way, sitting between francophone pop and delicate ballads. From her debut album Cœur de pirate she established a clear melodic signature, continued on Blonde, then broadened into more electronic textures with Roses, before returning to a more direct songwriting style on En cas de tempête, ce jardin sera fermé and Impossible à aimer. On stage she alternates between piano and keyboards, presenting a repertoire that mixes recent songs and well-known tracks like “Comme des enfants” or “Adieu,” while keeping voice and lyrics front and center. The balance between immediate melodies, spare arrangements and pop pulses gives her songs a sensitive presence, without unnecessary effects. A rendezvous for those who love French-language song when it flirts with contemporary pop.
