The Antlers

The Antlers, a Brooklyn-based indie rock band led by Peter Silberman, return with Blight, an album in which the singer-songwriter scrutinizes our deeply rooted destructive reflexes: mechanical pollution, inadvertent waste, the weakening of living systems. Despite the harshness of the subject, the songs remain clear, carefully crafted and carried by a supple dynamic. The Antlers will play on 13 March 2026 at Le Petit Bain in Paris to present these new tracks alongside older material.

Blight sometimes borrows from the realm of science fiction, like a signal from the near future. The record establishes a precise yet shifting frame, nourished by textures that transform without fanfare: a fingerpicked guitar, a few organ chords, a piano line, and then the material widens and slips from a hushed ballad toward an electronic pulse. On stage, this attention to detail and to transitions is extended, between breaths, discreet unfoldings and measured stylistic turns.
