Julien Clerc - Une Vie

Julien Clerc appears at the PBA – Palais des Beaux-Arts in Charleroi on 29 March 2026 with Une Vie, a song-based journey that spans his decades on stage. A leading figure of French chanson since the late 1960s, he unfolds melodic songwriting and a supple voice, instantly recognizable. On stage he retraces the thread of his albums, between piano, strings and airy arrangements, letting seminal tracks and more recent pieces converse. The songs that have accompanied many moments are present, from Ma préférence to Femmes... je vous aime, from Ce n’est rien to Si on chantait, alongside new songs that continue the same clear line. Between numbers, a few memories and the recollection of significant collaborations, from Étienne Roda-Gil to Jean-Loup Dabadie, illuminate the genesis of the lyrics and the evolution of the music. Une Vie locks nothing in place; it connects eras and lets the refrains breathe. A concert conceived for listening and intimacy, where interpretation and words take centre stage.
