Info
On 23 June 2027, Kraftwerk bring their live show to Cardiff Castle, with the kind of set that treats electronic music as both pop songs and a moving system of sound and image. Born in Düsseldorf and built around Ralf Hütter’s vision, the group reshaped their early experimental approach into a precise, melodic language from Autobahn onward: steady pulses, clipped rhythms, synthetic hooks and voices pushed through machines.
Expect a ride through the core of their catalogue, from the transport fantasies of Trans-Europe Express to the sleek contours of The Man-Machine and the digital bite of Computer World, all performed with the tight, minimalist discipline that made their “robot pop” feel timeless. On stage, Kraftwerk’s music is inseparable from the visuals: synchronized graphics, clean geometry and a constant dialogue between human presence and engineered precision. In Cardiff, it’s less a nostalgia trip than a chance to experience how these patterns still hit in real time, loud and clear.
