Info
On March 25, 2027, MPL lands at the Metaphone in Oignies with its rare sense of collectivity and storytelling. Born under the acronym Ma Pauvre Lucette, the five musicians move forward in unison, between catchy songs and choral energy, with a distinctly personal way of circulating emotion without getting hung up on labels. On stage, their music relishes mixing: a song-based foundation, pop that opens up, rhythms that lean toward hip-hop, electro touches when needed, and that taste for offbeat that lands. The performance quickly takes on a theatrical, playful, and danceable character, like a small ceremony where everyone ends up taking part. Between more stripped-down acoustic moments and more upfront passages, MPL delivers a lively set, conceived as a multi-voiced story, carried by a joy of playing that brings people together.
