Info
China Crisis land in Brighton for a live night at Concorde 2 on 8 October 2027, bringing their Liverpool-bred mix of new wave, synth-pop and that softer, more reflective edge that’s followed them since the late ’70s. Built around Gary Daly’s vocals and keys and Eddie Lundon’s guitar work, their songs balance melodic keyboards, chiming guitars and elastic bass lines, sitting somewhere between electronic pop, gentle post-punk and sleek sophisti-pop.
On stage, the duo’s catalogue moves easily from early 80s breakthroughs into the more polished, grown-up pop they shaped across the decade, including the era refined with Walter Becker of Steely Dan. Expect a set that plays with texture as much as hooks: intimate, precise, and made to be felt as much as sung back.
