On 20 June 2027, Simply Red will take the stage at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam for 'Summer Funk ’27', an evening that revolves around the smooth blend of pop and soul with which the band has earned its own place since 1985. Around the unmistakable voice of Mick Hucknall, Simply Red, despite changing lineups, remains faithful to melodies that linger and to arrangements that feel as tight as they are warm. Live you get the story of several decades in one set: from the early breakthrough with 'Money’s Too Tight (to Mention)' and 'Holding Back the Years' to the more expansive sound of the late eighties and early nineties.
