Janus Rasmussen arrives in Paris on November 25, 2026 at Pop-up du Label with Inert, a new chapter for his solo project. Known as one of the two fronts of Kiasmos, the producer born in the Faroe Islands and based in Reykjavik pushes here a more intimate and detailed electronic music, conceived for the live scene. His work plays with sound design, deep melodies, and a rhythmic tension that builds in layers, until finding a balance between drive and buoyancy.
In performance, Rasmussen anchors his set in a demanding electronic approach, where the precision of textures matters as much as impact. He moves his tracks between 2-step, breakbeats, IDM and more direct club formats, while integrating singing into his arrangements. The result: a tighter, more immersive performance that foregrounds progression and groove without resorting to showiness.
