Bernard Lavilliers

Bernard Lavilliers returns to the stage on June 4, 2027, at the Arcadium in Annecy. Chanson, rock and Latin American influences intersect there as they do throughout his career, with songwriting nourished by travel, ports and social realities. On stage he weaves a moving narrative, his deep voice up front, supported by rhythms that range from reggae to Brazilian touches, passing through Caribbean colours and occasional jazz detours.

The set draws on several periods, from O gringo and État d’urgence to Carnets de bord, while also featuring more recent tracks from Clair-obscur. Guitars, percussion and finely honed arrangements carry songs that change course without losing the thread, midway between an urban stroll and a tropical stopover. You’ll find maritime scenes, figures of wandering and pulses that invite movement. The concert is conceived as a travelogue, where Lavilliers’s musical openness is expressed live, between rhythmic density and clear melodic lines.
