Laurent Voulzy

Laurent Voulzy is back on the road and returns to the stage. After his series of concerts in cathedrals and churches across France, Belgium and Switzerland, he comes back with a set that blends acoustic and electric elements, designed for theatres and festivals. On 11 December 2026 at L’Intégral in Belley, he unfolds a journey through his songs, carried by a clear voice, delicate guitars and well-crafted harmonies.

You will encounter Rockollection, Le Soleil Donne, Belle-Île-en-Mer, Marie-Galante — those refrains that have accompanied moments in people’s lives — here presented in contemporary, more pared-down versions, with vocal textures that play on backing vocals and counter-melodies. The ballads take their time, the pop rhythms remain supple, balancing gentleness with restrained energy. Voulzy navigates between sixties reminiscences and more atmospheric moods drawn from Lys & Love or Belem, without losing the melodic thread that is his trademark.

A guitarist, singer-songwriter and long-time companion of Alain Souchon, he approaches this return with a simple desire: to play, to sing, to share. A concert refocused on song, intimacy and exchange, where you come for the melody and leave with the tune lingering in your head.
