Elmer Food Beat

Formed in 1986, Elmer Food Beat has carved out a singular path in French rock for four decades. Nearly a million records sold, gold and platinum discs, a Victoire de la Musique and more than a thousand concerts: the record speaks for itself. In 2026, the band launches Le Re-Tour to mark its 40th anniversary and revisit its history on stage.

On 12 December 2026 at the Rockstore in Montpellier, Elmer Food Beat will perform 30 cm in its entirety, 36 years after its release, alongside other emblematic songs. The original lineup reunites with the return of Kelu, for a five-piece set as in the old days. Direct guitar work, memorable choruses, frank lyrics: the band’s trademark energy, forged on the road, resumes its course.

This is not a nostalgic pose but the pleasure of playing together again and sharing a repertoire that has left its mark on generations of concerts. Forty years after the first riffs, Elmer Food Beat continues to prioritise live performance, true to the drive that has propelled them since 1986.
