Info
On October 27, 2027 at The O2 in London, Texas bring their Glasgow-bred pop rock back to a big-room setting, built for choruses that stick and guitars that stay sharp. Led by Sharleen Spiteri’s unmistakable voice, the band moves through the eras that shaped their run: the early breakthrough with “I Don’t Want a Lover”, the stadium-ready confidence of the 90s, and the later records that kept their sound both clean and grounded. Expect a set that leans on tight songwriting, warm grooves and that mix of rock drive and pop instinct Texas have made their own.
Joining them, Del Amitri add their own strand of Scottish songwriting: chiming guitars, direct melodies, and lyrics that hit with a dry, world-weary edge. With Justin Currie at the center, their catalog travels from Waking Hours through the 90s run of albums that carried songs like “Nothing Ever Happens” and “Roll to Me”, plus the more recent return to form on Fatal Mistakes. A lineup that makes sense: two bands from the same city, different angles, same love of songs built to last.
