Info
On May 1, 2027, at OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Rod Stewart brings “The Final Encore” to the stage, leaning into the long arc of a career that’s moved from gritty British R&B to stadium-sized rock and pop. Expect that unmistakable raspy voice, a set built around the big solo years of the early 70s through his late-70s hits, and the way he’s always played with styles: rock, folk, soul, and classic pop balladry. It’s the kind of show that lives on singalong choruses, sharp band dynamics, and Stewart’s knack for making a cover feel like his own.
Howard Jones is also on the bill. Known for a vocal style that flips between clean melodies, screams, and growls, he’s made his mark across modern metal, from his era with Killswitch Engage to projects like Light the Torch and SION. His presence adds a heavier, more aggressive counterpoint to the night, built on contrast, rhythm, and raw intensity.
