DMA’s play The Academy in Dublin on 20 February 2027, with the Sydney trio’s guitar-led songwriting at the core. Formed in 2012 by singer Tommy O’Dell with Matt Mason and Johnny Took on guitars, the band shaped a sound at the crossroads of indie rock, alternative and a clear britpop streak. Early singles like Delete set the tone: direct melodies, chiming guitars and a voice that carries the tune. Across Hills End, For Now and The Glow, they widened the palette into broader, sometimes dance-leaning textures without losing their guitar backbone. Their latest album, How Many Dreams? (2023), pushes that thread further, moving between hook-driven tracks, slow-burners and rhythm-focused cuts.

On stage, DMA’s switch between intimate singalongs and expansive crescendos, folding recent material into a set that still nods to early favorites.
