Static Dress headlines in Paris on 20 October 2026 at La Maroquinerie to present on stage Injury Episode, the new chapter of a project that cultivates tension, contrast and visual storytelling. After touring numerous French venues as support for Landmvrks, Motionless In White, Paleface Swiss and Underoath, the British quartet returns with a direct sequel to Rouge Carpet Disaster, the concept album released in 2022. Injury Episode dwells on the aftermath — the grey areas and silences that followed that first record — revisiting the world of Rouge Carpet Disaster as an allegory of trauma, loss and the gap between dream and reality.

On a sonic level, the band has opted for a stripped-back approach: no programming, few artifices, takes recorded up close, often in a single pass, allowing rough edges and energy to surface as they are. Heirs to 2000s post-hardcore and emo, Static Dress build through ruptures, contrasts and surges of tension, with Olli Appleyard’s voice carried by a dry rhythm section and raw-edged guitars. Opening acts Soul Blind and Holder will prime the audience.
